Marvin Carlos McGee
The Founder of the Audio Feast
MarvinDog Media is named for Jeff’s late friend, Marvin Carlos McGee. Marvin was one of the greatest dogs that has ever or will ever live (just like every other dog out there!). Jeff adopted Marvin in February of 2008. In 2011, Marvin developed an autoimmune disorder, which was bad news. Luckily for Jeff, Marvin was as stubborn as he was adorable, and he was able to hang on for several years after, far longer than most pups. Jeff knew that he wouldn’t have Marvin with him for as long as he should have. When it came time to name this podcast network, it seemed like an obvious move to name it after his friend. This way, Marvin’s memory and legacy would live on beyond him. Plus, I think we can all agree that Marvin makes one heck of a mascot! Marvin was one of a kind. Margot and Archie are carrying on his legacy in fine fashion, but there will only ever be one Marvin.
